Yohannes Mazeingia

Managing Director and Project Promoter

Mr. Yohannes Mazeingia is an experienced entrepreneur and management consultant with over 30 years of business experience in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Management, as well as a Master's Degree in Finance and Marketing from Switzerland.

Since the end of 2021, Mr. Mazeingia has been actively involved in establishing a consultancy company in Rwanda. He has also contributed significantly to promoting Rwanda as an attractive business destination through his role as a founder of the Kigali Business Network (KBN). Mr. Mazeingia is a visionary entrepreneur with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.

He is a proactive leader who provides strategic guidance and direction to teams, enabling them to achieve both individual and organizational objectives. His expertise includes profit and loss management, balance sheet performance, business growth strategies, and value creation aligned with organizational goals.

Michael Tesfay

Director

Mr. Michael Tesfay holds a degree in Architecture and Engineering from the University of Washington, Washington State, USA. He has more than 25 years of experience in project management and real estate development. His areas of expertise include:
• Project Management
• Construction and Building Codes
• Budgeting and Cost Control
• AutoCAD and Design Software
• Real Estate Market Analysis
• Financial Analysis

Throughout his career, Mr. Tesfay has successfully managed numerous construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with budgets, schedules, and quality standards. He has collaborated extensively with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to coordinate project activities and resolve construction-related challenges.

His responsibilities have included conducting site inspections to monitor progress, safety, and regulatory compliance; managing project budgets and expenses; negotiating supplier and subcontractor contracts; and preparing detailed progress reports for clients, stakeholders, and senior management. He has also conducted market research and feasibility studies, evaluated property acquisitions, performed due diligence, and supported financial planning and development initiatives.

Mesfin Eyob

Director

Mr. Mesfin Eyob holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington, D.C., and an MBA from American University. He is the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Co-Founder of Rezgateway, where he is responsible for the company's overall performance and strategic direction.

He is an expert in management, finance, international business, process optimization, and quality control, having held senior management positions in several organizations throughout his career. Prior to founding Rezgateway, Mr. Eyob served as President and City Executive of Wachovia Bank (then the fourth-largest bank in the United States) in Northern Virginia for 17 years. He also served as Chief Financial Officer and later President for the Middle East and Africa region at Apex CoVantage, a global leader in high-performance Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) solutions.

In addition, Mr. Eyob is the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Ascend Sustainable Foundation, a charitable NGO dedicated to AIDS prevention and community development initiatives in Ethiopia.

Girmay Debas

Director

Mr. Girmay Debas, an Ethiopian-born United States citizen, has more than 30 years of experience in engineering, construction, transportation, executive management, and business ownership. Mr. Debas is a serial entrepreneur who has founded and successfully exited several businesses, including a renovation company, an import-export trading firm, and an automobile dealership. Following the successful sale of these ventures, he established a transportation company more than 20 years ago, which continues to operate successfully under the management of his son.

Having transitioned the day-to-day management of his transportation business, Mr. Debas now focuses on investing his extensive resources, experience, and expertise in Africa. His current investments on the continent include a slaughterhouse operation, residential real estate development projects, and a technology company specializing in mobile application development
